Terms of service

The agreement for using the Badminton API website, the API and the MCP server.

Last updated 9 October 2026 · Operated by DeveloperData.net, Bangkok

1Who we are

Badminton API (badmintonapi.com) is operated by DeveloperData.net (brand: Developer Data), Empire Tower, 41st Floor, Unit 4106-7, South Sathorn Road, Yannawa, Sathorn, Bangkok 10120, Thailand ("we", "us").

These terms cover the website, the API at api.badmintonapi.com and the MCP server, together "the service". By creating an account or using a key you agree to them. If you use the service for an organisation, you agree for it and confirm you may.

2Your account and keys

You sign in with Google. One account is for one person or one organisation, and the details on it should be true.

Your API key is shown to you once. Keep it secret, as anyone holding it can use your plan. You are responsible for calls made with your keys. If a key is exposed, rotate it from your account: the old key keeps working for 24 hours so you can switch over.

We may revoke a key that is used against these terms, and will tell you why.

3Plans, limits and fair use

Each plan has a number of calls a day and a minute, listed on the pricing page. A call over a limit is answered with 429 and is not counted or charged.

Please do not work around the limits: no several free accounts for one person or project, no sharing a key, no rotating keys to reset a limit, and no copying the website in bulk instead of using the API. We may slow, pause or close an account that does.

4What you may do with the data

You may use the data in your own apps, sites, research and models, and show it to your users.

You may not resell, redistribute or republish the data itself, in bulk or through an API or feed of your own, download it in bulk to rebuild the database, or use it to build a competing product.

5Prices, ratings and win chances

Prices are shown as bookmakers published them when we collected them. Our rating and win chances are our own models and can be wrong.

All of it is information, not betting or financial advice. Whether betting is lawful where you are is for you to check.

6Accuracy and availability

The data is compiled from public sources, checked and linked by us. We correct mistakes when we find them or are told, but we cannot promise it is complete or free of errors. The coverage page lists the gaps we know of.

We aim to keep the service running and show how it is doing on the status page, but it is provided as it is, without a promise of uptime unless we agree one with you in writing.

Badminton API is independent. It is not connected with the Badminton World Federation or any tournament organiser; their names are used only to identify events.

7Paid plans and billing

Paid plans are paid through Stripe, billed monthly in advance in US dollars, and renew until you cancel. Card charges appear as DEVELOPERDATA.NET. Billing questions: https://developerdata.net/support?tab=charge

You can cancel at any time from your account. The plan runs to the end of the month you paid for, and your key then carries on as a free key. When we refund, and how to ask, is on the refunds page.

If we change a plan's price, we tell paying accounts by email at least 30 days before it applies, and it applies only from the next month.

8Acceptable use

Nothing unlawful. No probing or load-testing our systems without asking first, no attempts to reach another member's data, and no scraping pages whose data the API offers.

9Suspension and closing

You may close your account at any time, from your account (see Deleting an account in the privacy policy).

We may pause or close an account that breaks these terms, telling you first where we reasonably can; a serious breach can be acted on without notice. An account closed for a breach is not refunded.

10Liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost bets, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

11Changes to these terms

We post changes here with a new date. For changes that matter, paying accounts are told by email at least 30 days ahead.

12Law and courts

These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand, and the courts of Bangkok decide any dispute about them.

13Contact

Questions about these terms go through support. A person reads every ticket.
